Antara Mukherjee is a Mumbai-based writer and communications professional. Longlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize 2026, her work has appeared in several literary magazines. An alumna of the Kolam Writer's Workshop and the Himalayan Emerging Writers Residency, her debut novel, Beyond Our Births, is represented by Jayapriya Vasudevan of Jacaranda Literary Agency and will be published by Bloomsbury.

Hi everyone! I'm at a panel where we will discuss the craft of writing short stories. All the authors invited to the panel have either been longlisted or shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and Anushka Jasraj has been the regional winner twice. This is happening on Sunday, 17th of May, 11am at the Bombay Sweet Shop in Kala Ghoda. If you are in Mumbai next Sunday, please do drop by. There's a registration form that needs to be filled.
