Mumbai-based writer Antara Mukherjee was selected as one of 10 writers in the 2024 cohort of the Himalayan Emerging Writers Residency, where she is developing a novel.
Mukherjee writes about the human condition, and her work has appeared in publications including Kitaab, Muse India, Sahitya Akademi, The Chakkar, Usawa Literary Review, Joao-Roque Literary Journal and Alipore Post.
She has also co-written a play that premiered at the Bangalore International Centre in 2022 and is a Kolam Writers’ Workshop alumna. Her manuscript was additionally selected for a mentorship programme by Asian Women Writers, supported by US and UK literary agents working with emerging women writers from Asia.
Mukherjee is represented by Jacaranda Literary Agency.
